I am passionate about assisting individuals through their trials, as challenges endured without help can feel crippling. I have worked with students, adults, military, first responders, LGBTQ+, families and individuals confronted by anxiety, depression, obsessive behaviors, behavioral deficits, trauma, PTSD, abuse, personality disorders, disassociation and psychotic symptoms. Your struggles do not and need to feel as if they define your quality of life or generate a sense of emptiness.
I utilize evidenced-based practices that empower individuals within all walks of life from four-years-old to late adulthood. As a military spouse, I am dedicated to serving our first responders and military as one who comprehends our culture, lifestyle and verbiage. Yet, I also recognize how deeply many people within all walks of life, within each of our communities have been affected by the changes within this era. I feel that a vital component for adults, couples, families, teens and children to experience relief, lies with navigating through unique struggles within place that feels clinically safe and therapeutic support is trusted.
I earned a master’s degree from Liberty University as a Clinical Mental Health Professional and have been Board Certified as a Nationally Certified Counselor. Aware that each person will benefit uniquely from counseling, I have practiced tailoring evidenced-based techniques such as solution-focused therapy, strength-based approach, cognitive behavioral interventions, mindfulness, play therapy, sand tray therapy, expressive arts and EMDR.
Above all, I believe that every person should experience the freedom of knowing that they can simply come as they are. I am currently providing individual, family and group counseling for adults, teens, adolescents and children. I look forward to meeting you!
